Liebig's kaartenverzamelaar Albert Van den Bosch vertelt over zijn verzameling. Net als Liebig, dezelfde drukker drukte ook voor andere bedrijven, deze zijn 100% gelijk aan de Liebig-editie "AUTHENTIQUE", allemaal gedrukt rond 1872 13 tickets de chaise 1872 drukker TESTU & MASSIN, litho chromos GELIJK (dezelfde stenen) Liebig's maar andere reclametekst, deze kaarten zijn bekend bij de Liebig-verzamelaars als STOELkaarten = tickets de chaise Stuhlkarten - stoelkaartjes die gratis aan de klanten worden gegeven om Parijs te bezoeken en toestemming te hebben om op een stoel te zitten (slechts één keer, het werd gevalideerd en kon niet verder worden gebruikt) ... maar ze bewaarden de kaarten voor hun kinderen of voor hun herinneringsalbums = albums de collection Van der Auwera, mijn mentor, was zich er zelfs niet van bewust dat ze in de Liebig-collectie bestonden, hij noemde ze nooit in zijn beroemde catalogi Hij vertelde me dat hij nooit in een catalogus had vermeld ... een kaart die hij niet met eigen ogen had gezien, bestond niet voor hem Dus dit zijn geen Liebig-kaarten, gewoon gedrukt voor andere klanten van de drukker TESTU & Masson Geen enkele catalogus durft meer dan 6 kaarten in die set S20 te vermelden, maar ik heb al deze kaarten in verschillende collecties gezien (slechts een paar in elke grote collectie) en dus kan ik stellen dat er minstens 7 sets van 4 kaarten zijn... Ik heb er ongeveer 16 met eigen ogen gezien. En er zijn dus minstens 7 series

Liebig's card collector Albert Van den Bosch talks about his collection. Like Liebig, the same printer also printed for other companies, these are 100% identical to the Liebig edition "AUTHENTIQUE", all printed around 1872 13 tickets de chaise 1872 printer TESTU & MASSIN, litho chromos EQUAL (same stones) Liebig's but other advertising text, these cards are known to Liebig collectors as STOELkaarten = tickets de chaise Stuhlkarten - chair tickets given for free to customers to visit Paris and have the permission to sit on a chair (only once, it was validated and could not be used further) ... but they kept the cards for their children or for their memory albums = albums de collection Van der Auwera, my mentor, was not even aware that they existed in the Liebig collection, he never mentioned them in his famous catalogues He told me that he had never mentioned them in a catalogue ... a card that he had not seen with his own eyes did not exist for him So these are not Liebig cards, just printed for other customers of the printer TESTU & Masson No catalogue dares to mention more than 6 cards in that set S20, but I have seen all these cards in different collections (only a few in each big collection) and so I can state that there are at least 7 sets of 4 cards... I have seen about 16 of them with my own eyes. And so there are at least 7 series

VIRTUEEL MUSEUM - ANTHROMORPHE Chromos en chromoreeksen met één gemeenschappelijk onderwerp : Dieren die zich gedragen als mensen

 Anthropomorphe onderwerpen

                Dieren met kleren aan, en menselijke gedragingen ...grappige situaties, uitvergrote klein vogeltjes die marcheren als soldaten;  insecten, bloemen, vissen, je kan het je niet bedenken of het bestond in de geest van illustrators uit alle eeuwen, denk maar aan Jeroen Bosch.  Er zijn pareltjes bij, maar het scherm laat geen emoties los ... je moet ze in het echt zien ....  en dan voel je hoe kleuren je hart beroeren.

Sommigen onder ons kunnen dat niet begrijpen en staan voor een schilderij alsof ze op de trein wachten.  Tja, ik ben geen psychiater, maar weet alleen dat : bij mij tranen bewegen ...  soms,  bij het zien van sommige kunst.  Drukwerk wordt toch ook niet voor niks drukKUNST  genoemd !  Het zal niet altijd kunst zijn ... maar vergeet niet dat de ontwerpers van deze prenten soms tot de ALLERGROOTSTEN behoren.  Maar legden geen verklaringen af als het hen gevraagd werd.  Ze zagen scheel van de honger, die schilders in hun jonge tijd .. natuurlijk maakten die tekeningen voor de plaatselijke drukker, bakker of chokoladefabrikant.  Zou jij dat ook niet doen ... ?    

Ik wens u veel plezier met het ontdekken van je voorkeuren.  En niet vergeten ... rond 1870 ... het werd ook  geldgewin.  Dus er werden steeds reeksen van 6 gedrukt, maar men verdeelde er maar 5  prenten van    ...  en voor de zesde prent werd graag nadoen  betaald ... album vol, alle reeksen volledig ... nieuw familiealbum.

Liebig uitgaven waren in vele talen én ik ben er fier op een Vlaming te zijn, en ongelofelijk OUDE verzamelaars weten dit niet ; zij verzamelen ALLEEN nà 1918

 Bespreking van de Nederlandstalige Liebig uitgaven,

verkeerdelijk Hollandse genoemd

Er is steeds veel verwarring onder verzamelaars geweest omtrent reeksen in het NEDERLANDS dit vooral om volgende reden : in ALLE catalogen staat  in 1930, het nummer 142 (Antwerpse uitgaven)  “Kerken van België” de eerste Vlaamse reeks was. Dit is alleen correct indien men alleen  de Belgische uitgaven beschouwt van nà 1918 én Vlaams als een andere taal beschouwd dan het Nederlands. De Compagnie was immers na 1918 opnieuw beginnen nummeren. Dit omdat er zoveel onenigheid bestond   over hun eigen, onjuiste, nummering.  Daarin ontbraken namelijk vele reeksen ... (waarover later meer).   Echter ALLEEN in deze nieuwe nummering was die reeks dus inderdaad de eerste. Maar ongeveer  50 jaar eerder, vanaf 1883, werden méér dan 700 Nederlandstalige reeksen verdeeld in Nederland en Vlaanderen, dit alles dus vóór de eerste wereldoorlog 1914-18.   Omwille van de duidelijkheid,   want veel verzamelaars gebruiken nog steeds deze catalogen,  zal ik echter dezelfde terminologie  aanhouden als mijn voorgangers Vlaamse cataloogmakers  o.a. Jansens, Tourteau,Van der Auwera en  anderen, Van den Bosch, Albert HOLLANDSE : verdeeld in Vlaanderen en Nederland vóór de zogenaamde VLAAMSE en ROTTERDAMSE uitgaven VLAAMSE : verdeeld door ANTWERPEN met de nieuw begonnen nummering in 1918 van 1 tot 538 ROTTERDAMSE : verdeeld door de Compagnie Rotterdam met een nummering 1 tot 115 nà 195

Deze kataloog :   

Kataloog Liebigreeksen in het Nederlands 1883-1914

vermeld ALLE  Nederlandstalige reeksen van de Liebig Compagnie met afbeelding, nummers in diverse catalogen én alle variëteitenalsook  in andere talen.   De volledige verzameling met nog meer info staat op internet op mijn LIEBIG site   titels in all talen (geen lidwoorden vooraf) :

 afbeeldingen van losse prenten, drukkers, alfabetische lijsten in alle uitgegeven talen, studies van de ruggen, tafelkaarten en menureeksen, kalenders, kookboekjes enz....kunt U er in kleur bewonderen.

Kunsthistorisch verantwoord, opvoedkundig en van ongeëvenaarde artistieke kleurenpracht zijn er na 1871 meer dan duizend NEDERLANDSTALIGE reeksen uitgegeven gedurende bijna 100 jaar en dan spreken we nog niet van de varia.

Indien U reeksen heeft die niet vermeld zijn in de kataloog gelieve dit dan te melden want de bedoeling is hier ALLE aanwezige informatie te bundelen en voor iedereen toegankelijk te maken.

Ik zal trachten elke maand 3 reeksen te bespreken à Een gedrukte uitgave heeft geen zin, want ik ben met mijn website reeds aan 7000 bladzijden.   Een gedrukte lijst met titels, conversienummers en prijzen is wel elk jaar verkrijgbaar.

bovenstaande schreef ik in 2013 in die online gratis kataloog 

PS  - ik schrijf dit nu 28/11/2024 en kreeg van niemand !!! ( uitgezonderd 3 verzamelaars ! ) medewerking of een dankwoord (alhoewel er tienduizenden mensen mijn kataloog gebruiken ( ongeveer 800 raadplegingen (sommigen van een uur of meer ) PER DAG  (gemiddeld, want er zijn dagen van 2000 inloggers ).  Dus daar doe ik even mijn beklag over.   Internet is zeeeeeeeeeer onpersoonlijk.  Dus vandaar ook dat ik op zeker ogenblik gesstopt ben met aanvullingen ... jammer, maar ik ben nu 78 en beklaag me niet hoor ... ik vind dat de chromolithografie een ongelofelijke verrijking in onze cultuur is geweest.   Deze chromos vervingen de latere encyclopedische uitgaven, en waren een lust voor het oog op feestjes met quizen voor kinderen en volwassen, voor rijken en armen ... het was de voorloper van Google in het Internet.

Deze verzameling zijn vooral POSTKAARTEN over de eerste pioniers van de luchtvaart, dus rond 1900 à 1910. Allemaal originele postkaarten, de meeste verstuurd vanaf de luchtvaarbasis, waar de proeven plaatsvonden. Het is prachtige geschiedenis, met bewijzen op foto en op achterkant , afstempeling en beschrijving soms. Sommige zijn ze gehandtekend door de piloten. Later kwam Wereldoorlog 1 en dan komen de Zeppelins. Ook ons eigen leger van Belgie had piloten en proef- én observatievluchten Alles kan ook individueel gekocht worden.... Het zijn ongeveer 140 loten, tezamen 279 kaarten, alle in zeer goede staat. Alles kan individueel gekocht worden OF Indien ze al op veiling zijn, dan kan je erop bieden OF dan kan ik veilingen, voor U, veranderen naar een vaste prijs ..... met korting aan minus 20% vanaf 5 loten, en aan minus 30% vanaf 500 Euro. Een "=grotere korting" voor de hele partij, dat kan, .... afgehaald (of gebracht). Hoe meer U koopt, hoe goedkoper het wordt. Ik heb zeer vele zulke verkoop-themas. CIBILS Bouillon Company , bought out by Liebig's and around 1910 disappearing, without law-fights, just brains and cheques ( and good policy )

 The Liebig Company had a lot of compitors on their product ... many used false methods, conterfeiting the product, using the same name with a word more, some even identic (just in other country ) and they paid extra to the shop-owners to put their product next to Liebig pots and packages.  

Liebig fought in the first years in the courts of many countries, but that costed a lot of money.  After 30 years of experience they used a new system.  They bougt all properties,  ships, locations and even directors of those Companies.  Good examples of these pratices were the factories of Cibils and KEMMERICH they even proposed to Profesor Kemmerich to be their head of the Liebig Company AND that was a succes ..

 The firm Cibils had their headquarter also in Antwerp and that Company was bought in bits and pieces until they surendered.  Cibils was very succesfull and their advertising cards had same dimensions and were VERY impressive.  That is the reason that I expose here their publications to prove it :

We had a few rough years, due to Corona .....

-  most international London, Paris, USA "fairs" did disappear for months

- so we sold our Truck and also our Home-Shop-house 

-  and we stopped traveling

- and, since 1990  internet was my passion, =  so international business "as usual" continued by mail

- AND once a collector = always a collector : swapping & trading & exchanging went on

- 2021 Ebay got hungry and could not be reached anymore by phone : so we left Ebay

Scraps, découpis, Oblaten, die-cuts, Glansbilder, chromos couveautés, cut-outs, relief prints, stonepress cinderellas, découpis,découpé, découpage, die cut, uitgekapte prentjes, gaufré, relief  =  cut out figures of ephemera glued in  "Albums de Collections" : lithographed print-outs which were packed with a  sales ( chocolate, bread, etc...) , mostly food and cheap products ... from 1870 to 1900 ... to please at house the children, and to keep them quiet, when unpacking the bought articles.  Most of the time they were glued in albums or big pages, in the evening by candle light,  to be collected en albums or collection-boxes.

So I start now, begin october 2020 with the dividing  our inventory-collections  :  600 maps,  one map at a time : each map fully photograped and beeing on sale somewhere (links will show you where when brought in auction).   Prices will go down 30% if aquiring 3 to 5  maps of a collection.  And when buying all maps of a collection price will be 40% down.  If buying FULL archive then discount is 50%.  

As example you can follow as a start, the evolution of my a SCRAP-collection of more than 20 maps, 10 BIG albums and some boxes filled with scraps. This full collection is far too extended

1000nds of photos .... so impossible to describe and let see all the necessary information in auctions which allows 12 to 100 photos .... this BLOG  is the answer  to this constraint

So there will follow a dividing in smaller parts, each day one or 2, and this µI will do week by week.  So in 2 years all wil be online and the images, to be provided in catalogues, will never be lost.

To see all my collections being divided, follow this Blog  and see being born small parts of collections in blocks : 600 maps  to be mapped in directories, which will evoluate to the Virtual museum. 

Of course there will also be individual sales too .....  and these are not mentioned in the big Delcampe 20maps+10scrapalbums sale but are included in total price in which are ALL "scraps in sale"  as wel as "to bring in sale, but still not photographed"  :
